Artistry Magazine
The Beginning
Artistry Magazine is an online magazine based at Northeastern that Jodie Ng and I co-ran together for a multitude of years during our undergraduate careers. We created Artistry to connect the school through artistic expression. We showcased the works of students, faculty and alumni and reviewed art in and around Boston.
The Mission
One of the main objectives we wanted to establish in Artirsty was that art was not limited to just traditional forms such as visual art, music, dance, theatre, fashion and film. We wanted to encourage the Northeastern community to challenge those boundaries and to write about anything they considered art. A full PDF version of the first issue of Artistry can be found here.
